Dirtbike Tires...

Does anyone else here just absolutley HATE changing dirt bike tire? Their so much harder than car or truck tires and half the time you end up poking holes in the tube as you scramble to get the thing back on. I should got the guy at the dealer to do it for $10...

YES YES YES. i have a 93 Honda XR650l with Kenda tires 6ply no way i even think about changing them myself.

ISDT guys

Ever watch the ISDT and enduro pro's change a tire. On the bike to on the bike in less than 5 minutes. You watch them and when their done you aren't sure you saw what you did.

As in most things tools are a big part of the answer. I have an old "spoon" tire iron that make things much easier. Along with car size irons you can make it less severe.

One suggestion some people swear by on not pinching the tube is to have very smooth tool ends as well as put a slight amount of air in the tube to move it away from the rim............ and then let it out before you finish install.

Plus practice, practice, practice.
