I'm back in Oregon for a few days of vacation, crabbing was always one of my favorites out here.

I used to go crabbing off the coast of South Carolina. Lots of fun. Throw some liver on a hook, hook on a line, and draw them out of the water and have a buddy catch them with a net. Blue crab...delicious.

I've done blue crab in TX but prefer dungeness because they're a bit bigger. they use minks out here (the mammal?) I guess they must buy them off fur farms after they're skinned because they use them whole, I did some research on 'em and crabs love em but sea lions hate em I guess.

I think the blues you can keep anything? The D's you can only keep males 5-1/4" or bigger here in OR. I got hundreds of crab to find 7 keepers.
