FYI, they do kill it at the end but it doesn't really let you know that in this version of the vid... when it shows it leaking oil/coolant/whatever the next shot is them flooring it and just sitting at the rev limiter for a while until it dies.
I love the video until they just kill it for the hell of it. I still want to do this (my buddies father owns quite a bit of land up in VT that we could just pick up a few junker XJ's and explore).. We could just explore whatever we wanted to and if we broke something... oh well, f*** it.
Then we could go get a tractor or XJ or something and pull the dead rig out.
Also, incase you cared why they did this... these guys apparently had/bought an XJ that was rotted out. I forget the whole story, but either they just said "eh, too much rust, not gonna fix it, let's kill it" or they failed inspection then said "eh, too much rust, not gonna fix it, let kill it". heh. And the song in the vid sucks.. the original had a version of "message in a bottle" which tied into the video real well, too bad copyright s*** got in it removed. If someone knows somewhere that the original is posted, post a link, much better than this one.
