Desperately Needed - 1/4" alum. spacer between brake booster & firewall

I know this came on '95/96 XJ's and that's the system that I'm swapping into my '91. I don't know if newer years had this same spacer or not. If you have one, please PM me w/ a price shipped to 32084. This is the last part I need to do this swap.

I've seen the spacer mentioned as some have it..some don't...some need it and some don't.

I pulled one from a 1996 XJ. It had a foam rubber spacer as a SEAL...not really a spacer.

Have you tried to put it in to see if you need it??

At worst, you could use 1-2 washers per stud and mount it that way and do some foam sticky strips to seal it off.

I don't have one to sell but hope the tech maybe helps a bit.

Yeah, I know there is definetely a foam piece as a seal, but from what I've heard there is the alum. spacer and most say it's needed, some say it's not. I guess I'm just going to make one out of plywood and if I do end up needing it, I'll at least have something.

Spacer can be made out of .25 plate metal.

And they have said it isn't needed. It just alters the angle of the brake pedal a little. Otherwise you can run without it.
