So Saturday Alicia & I met up with LJ Dude, Carmel, Crystal & Annell to take a drive from Bend to John Day Oregon. Here's what we did.
Started out east on Hwy 20 until we hit dirt

Then we found some really cool look outs

This place was closed due to the "Shutdown", we looked anyway

They did all that shut down junk, they forgot to lock the supply room

So we made it to Crack in the Ground, it was really cool. We had some lunch then headed out to John Day.

So we made it to John Day Saturday night, Sunday morning started out on the way home. Again taking dirt roads.

Then on Sunday after lunch we headed out on Highway 97. 6 miles out the XJ died. So on the side of the road me & Daryl swapped the CPS. That wasn't it, checked fuel, that wasn't it. It was the coil. The coil died right there. So Alicia was able to find a tow company that also had a auto part store. He brought out a coil, and after almost 3 hours we installed a new coil and we were up & running. Total cash $100. Money well spend considering.

Heading home

All in all it was a GREAT weekend
