I'm thinking about putting 30 spline axles in my D35, and I was wondering if I needed to upgrade my carrier?

Most of them are sold as kits (Axle Shafts & Locker) $900+, if you buy the axles separate which is $300 you have to buy a special 30 spline locker/carrier, those that I have see are Detroit locker, OX locker, and ARB, $500 +
For the price of the 30 spline axles and carrier go find a Ford 8.8 (Fabing) or just get a 8.25 out of later model Jeep 96+ (Bolt on) , cost you far less than polishing that turd called a D35
