D30 Carrier Physical Differences???

I've searched and cant find the answer.
I know the ring gear flange sits closer to center on the 3:73 carrier than it does on the 3:55. Does anyone know the actual measurement?

I don't know the measurement, but am curious why you need it.

2. local JY has pile of D30's missing covers, if I have measurements I can quickly ID the carrier without having to count teeth.
