Has anyone cut the lift spacers? I currently have 2" spacer lift in the front. I just recently scavanged Tuff Country 3.5" springs. I don't want to go any higher than 4.5 to 5"s. Can I cut the spacers on a bandsaw or
should I just pickup some cheapys on ebay?
The top end of the spacer has a deep angle cut to widen the opening to fit around the spring centering tube. You'd have to cut the spacer, then carve out the opening to fit properly.......
If you're just looking for an inch or so over the 3.5" coils you just got, go grab another set of the stock rubber coil spring isolators from a junk yard XJ and just stack them. Each isolator adds about 3/4" lift.
Here's 4 of those OEM isolators stacked. Not visually attractive, but they fit together tight and are very solid.
