its a lot easier to modify cardboard a bunch of times to get that pefect fit and design. Hell, a little extra tape and u can even take it for a test drive and check clearances. itll even hold at highway speeds, ask me how i know

You've gone to all that work, you should just keep the cardboard mockup as your bumper. Finish wrapping the whole thing in duct tape and you're good to go. I trust you made long cardboard mounts, not just the factory 3 holes?:cheers:

i am looking to fab up a front bumper just like the four real front bumper but make a few tweks in it.

i already had the design in mind but was looking for more info on how to build one i like the cardboard idea thanks any other suggestions

What suggestions do you really need???

If you have the design, get some .120 wall 1.5 or 1.75 HREW or DOM tube and use a tube bender and bend the hoops. Then take a thing of box steel and cut, bend, weld it and to it (Maybe using 1/8" of thicker plate for making your form) and BAM you have a bumper. Use tie in brackets like the ones offered by JCR or something of the like.

wow....dude. im in the process of building this bumper. u have no idea how close this looks to mine. onlu difference is my bottom is angled down instead of flat.

nice work dude.

i started to copy the hansen offroad design, and its pretty close so far, i even have my tube bent up!

You would definitely have THE most expensive bumper on the planet after you found somebody capable of welding/forming it!

I think that is 3/2.5 ti .

I say if your going to blow the wad might as well use 6/4 ti at $614.18. :scottm:
