custom fenders?

i need ideas for custom fenders, i'm tired of mud getting everywhere. i don't want plastic ones because i'm afraid of them breaking (i ride in heavy woods). i would like to tube them out. anybody got any ideas? i have cut my fenders since this photo.

Sorry, I was trying to look for the slickrock site, and couldn't find it, I had forgotten that they were no longer available. Then I got caught up reading CruisinIllusions fender build again.
Here is his tube fenders, the build is on this site, but I just found this one, and it has more pictures of the build.

Says the bylaws. No double posting, it clogs the forums with excess threads, takes up more bandwidth, and causes blindness in small children.
But yeah, the tube fenders are nice, but have to be fabbed by you. Eventually I think I'll go that route.

i'm sure it does.

i will be making my own this summer. i'm just trying to figure out the strongest way to mount them. i wheel in heavy woods with thick under brush. i'm scared to get the typical plastic "bushwhacker" type flares, i hear they are easy to break. any more help or pics would be useful.
