Hammertone.
hehe somebody's a real smarty pants. Yup... I stalled getting this bar started until I got my rims back from the powdercoater. I never actually saw hammertone on a car before, and now I'm slightly hooked. Expect to see more hammertone on my Jeep in the near futureHammertone.
lol, have you been talking to my business partner? I'll meet you half-way: hammertone with a purple forcefield, and that's my final offer.purple with pink forcefield?
stainless is nice, but it will tarnish. if you want to keep it looking fresh powdercoat it. they should have a coating that is almost the same color as raw stainless and it will be alot easier to take care of.
use "tarnX" silver polish, then clear coat it with duplicolor high heat clear coat. that should keep it looking like new. make sure its the high heat engine paint clear tho, the regular clear will turn yellow the first time it heats up.Yeah.. my stainless exhaust tip was silver... now it looks gold. Ick. Need to use some metal polish on it.
Your business partner is Blueballer?
I vote for body color. Or maybe just the hoop chromed.
Yeah, the guy told me the first bar he made (the one in the picture) isn't straight, and it's too weak. He made me a second one, but it looked completely off, so now he's working on a third. This is yet another example how all my projects turn from taking weeks to taking months. ugh!!update?
haha yeah. If bluballs was my business partner I'd have to file for bankruptcy before I registered my business.Thats Funny! I don't see any twinkle bulbs though, He can't be Bluballer's business partner!
