(Custom Bull Bar) help me decide on a color/ finish

Hammertone.
hehe somebody's a real smarty pants. Yup... I stalled getting this bar started until I got my rims back from the powdercoater. I never actually saw hammertone on a car before, and now I'm slightly hooked. Expect to see more hammertone on my Jeep in the near future ;)

purple with pink forcefield?
lol, have you been talking to my business partner? I'll meet you half-way: hammertone with a purple forcefield, and that's my final offer.

Well, things are getting closer to completion. Those aren't my Hellas, but they sure do look good on my bumper.
Me thinks me has a new project ;)

stainless is nice, but it will tarnish. if you want to keep it looking fresh powdercoat it. they should have a coating that is almost the same color as raw stainless and it will be alot easier to take care of.

I think you should reconsider the purple forcefield. Seriously. Off topic, if you've got any closeup pictures of the "spoiler" on the hatch, I'd love to see a couple. Does it seem to have any effect on keeping the rear window clear? I was thinking that it might help there, and also give me some place to tuck some auxiliary lighting (backing out onto the road earlier in the rain, I realized my lighting could use some work).

Yeah.. my stainless exhaust tip was silver... now it looks gold. Ick. Need to use some metal polish on it.

use "tarnX" silver polish, then clear coat it with duplicolor high heat clear coat. that should keep it looking like new. make sure its the high heat engine paint clear tho, the regular clear will turn yellow the first time it heats up.

I'll go with the Tarnx tip, but high heat stuff yellows too. I painted my head and the intake manifold with it... they both yellowed, the intake was very noticeable even before installation.

Your business partner is Blueballer?

I vote for body color. Or maybe just the hoop chromed.

:D Thats Funny! I don't see any twinkle bulbs though, He can't be Bluballer's business partner!

Yeah, the guy told me the first bar he made (the one in the picture) isn't straight, and it's too weak. He made me a second one, but it looked completely off, so now he's working on a third. This is yet another example how all my projects turn from taking weeks to taking months. ugh!!

haha yeah. If bluballs was my business partner I'd have to file for bankruptcy before I registered my business.
