Cry 8.25 Rebuild cost

Alright guys,

Getting an XJ from a friend. It needs the axle rebuilt.

Its a 1999 XJ with about 180k

HIS guy quoted me $800-1,000 for a complete rebuild.

Does that sound right?!


If I had my own garage, I would just axle swap. But we are currently renting.


Anyone else want to make a couple bucks?
