Crawl ‘25

Hey everybody,

Hope everybody is doing well. We’ve got the ‘25 Crawl coming up here in just a couple short months. We’ll be back at Black Mountain OHV in Harlan KY on the weekend of June 27-28.

We will have the usual raffle Saturday evening (typically Pizza from the Portal in town) with provided food to those who register before the event with additional raffle tickets available on site.

Registration will be up soon, so keep an eye out for it to be posted up.

We look forward to seeing everyone again this year!

Is there a specific meeting location and time for Friday? If I enter Black Mountain Off-road Park in Google maps, will that take me right to the meetup location?

The meetup time will be Saturday evening at my cabin (first big cabin on the right when you pull into the parking lot). Typically around 6:00, but that kinda varies with how people do on the trails and if anyone has issues or anything. If you see my Jeep at the cabin, I’ll be there, so feel free to stop by and hang out, or we can look to run some trails. I’ll probably be running trails more in the morning and later afternoon because I’ll have my wife and kids and it’s supposed to be really hot

We normally meet in the lower campground. I know my group tries to get headed up the mountain around 9 am.

I asked at the check-in cabin how to find the lower campground. She had no idea, so she called the manager who also had no idea. They both guessed maybe you meant Sycamore campground, so that’s where I am.

We were doing emergency repairs to my rig. We will be meeting about 9 am at my cabin if you want to join us again.
