But I was wondering if you would be willing to do some gear work for me on my 8.25", If you can give me an idea on what you charge. I also have a No-Slip for it.
I need gearwork done too. I can do it myself, but somehow I think it'd be a LOT more fun if I could pay YOU to do it while I get nine-eye snockered and throw empties at you when I don't think you are moving fast enough. (about 10 times an hour to start, then more often as we get you warmed up)
I'll supply all the beer I can drink and a box of wine each for the ladies. (dunno if they'll participate in the empty-chucking much)
She's in & cooking. Just working out a few of the quirks that go along with an engine transplant as we speak. So far I'm very pleased. Nothing like actually being able to hold overdrive going on the freeway overpasses again.
I think I will head up and bring the gears and stuff on Fri. if that is OK? I would then pick it up on Mon. or when it is done. You can also call me at (209) 495-7451. Thanks!!!
They are 4:46 and just about an hour ago realized that I may not have all that I should meaning the install kit. Did you want to wait until after JV or should Itry to locate an install kit locally. It is your call, I am not in a rush.
Let's wait 'till after JV. All you really need is a mini install kit, unless you want all new bearings. The mini-kit is basically shims, a crush sleeve and a new pinion nut.
