Crap...It's starting to snow AGAIN

well 20+" and still counting. Snowing just as hard this morning as is was yesterday. They are saying 10-12"'s more today. try to get some pics up, its pretty impressive.

The sun is trying it's hardest to peak out this morning. Clouds are looming though and the Peak is not visible. Were supposed to get minimum of 4" more today. I'm going fishing though. I'll take pics.

down south it's clear as a bell and sunny. No more snow in the forcast down here, 30% chance is all.

you must be talking south denver.

Cause down SE we have about 26-30" on the level with 4-8' drifts. I had a nice 4 fter infront of my drive this morning. They have the National Guard out and I am getting ready to go do my shift at the Fire Dept.

They just update the forcast......blizzard warning until 430pm.....another 4-7" by night fall.

Yeah, I saw that the SE corner was gonna get hammered with the front stalling over the area.

I spent the last 48 hrs shuttling nurses, lab techs and patients too and from Littleton Hospital.

Kinda funny how the cities, counties and the State DOT put so much effort in getting the main roads clear, but the bigger problem is people not being able to get out of their neighborhoods. I picked up a lab tech who lived in Morrison last night - the plow came within 50 feet of his house on a culdesac, but it would have taken him a full day to shovel from his driveway to the plowed access.

Saw a lot of front drive cars stuck in the ice flow / slush that developed in the low areas and gutters that go across intersections in the neighborhoods.

Littleton ponied up to some construction contractors. Several of those huge yellow front end loaders were running around the neighborhood getting a path cut. Unfortunately, the path is nice and flat and down to the ice. Cars are slipping off the path into the drifts.....

Come awn sunshine and warm temps!

It has been clear and sunshiny all day here in Loveland.

Needless to say I was the only person out fishing today. Probably not the brightest idea to go into Cheeseman Canyon but...they were whispering to me. I started things off right by promptly getting Captain Crazy stuck in the parking lot for the Gill Trail. After a futile effort to dig myself out...I decided to hoof it...somewhere via the road. About a quarter mile down the road I heard a vehicle approaching from behind. I turned to see the most beautiful Hummer H3 ever. It was slowing to a stop right before my eyes. I shouldn't have to tell you all that it had a very high bling factor. It shames me to say this but....it was able to go where I was not. It successfully retrieved me. I got no pics of the deal but I'm man enough to tell the story. On with the hazing. :D

I did manage to get into the Canyon and fish for a while. It was incredibly difficult. I saw a nice bald eagle and did get a few pics. I'll post those later after I'm rested.

I now think suspension is highly over rated. I might start looking at some 20's or 22's to get some more clearance Clarence.

Vanna, I'd like to buy a clue! What's SPOBI?

Stop Putting Out Bs Info.

I was gonna ask what a unimog was. Is that some kinda crazy one wheeled concept 4x4?

I just did. Some kinda industrial, military looking thang. Upon further review I might have to side with our fearless leader. (Troy.)

P.S. I failed to mention earlier that while I was being yanked out of the deep snow by that Hummer, I happened to catch a glimpse of the license plate in my mirror. I almost broke my neck spinning around to verify. Plates from Florida. He was obviously experienced in deep snow recovery.

Stay out of the snow. The snow is dangerous and you might get hurt. Put your jeep in the garage and wrap it in a blanket. Who knows what may happen if your jeep gets cold. Don't take the risk. Maybe you might want to take it inside the house and give it a safe haven on the sofa? Meeeooowwwwwwww LMAO

haze away pics didnt come out. to many lights on the mog and the guys security light drown out the pic. your just gonna have to take my word for it. Or better yet this is Shaunna and for once he is telling the truth.

Indeed. Since when does Shaunna take your side on anything..... :D

I imagine she was the one to flag down the Mog driver to help your ass get un-stuck...... :twak:
