I suppose these are pretty standard questions that can relate to any jeep, but I'd appreciate some guidance.

Firstly, there's a hissing from the brake pedal, which gets worse after braking. It stops when your foot's on the pedal. I assume it's some sort of vacuum leak, but 2nd and 3rd opinions will be gratefully received. It's bugging the missus, so it has to get sorted, otherwise she'll accuse me of buying a duffer!

The other thing is that under braking I get a wobble through one wheel if it hits a bump. What is likely to be loose? Tie rods? Drag link?

TIA

hissing at the brake booster is a problem. Inspect the hose and the check valve that go to it.

Then test the booster itself.

Start Jeep, turn off jeep
press brake pedal, you should get 3 or 4 strokes before the power assist is lost.

Second test
Start jeep, turn off
come back 30 minutes later, there should still be power assist, if not, the booster is leaking down somehow.

death wobble is likely caused by a loose front end component, so you're on the right track with that.
Check EVERYTHING, it's not likely that one part is more worn than the others, but that a combination of worn parts contributes to the problem.
