COOLING FAN STAYS ON

The cooling fan on my 97 will not shut off. I assume it's a sensor switch. Anyone have any input? Where is it located or any other possible causes.

Mine was doing this recently. It was the relay sticking. Soon after (about a week later), it was stuck off and overheated
You may be able to tap on it and see if it goes off, but at $13 a pop, it may be worth just replacing.

Look under the hood in your relay box, located on the passenger side; and pop the cover off. Assuming the fan is still running, locate the fan relay and tap it with handle end of a screwdriver. If it shuts off, you have a bad relay. Just replace.

Happened to my '98.... easy fix.

I was out messing with the relay and it went off, I will replace it first thing in the morning.
