Do codes 1776 and 0700 mean anything? They are from 2003 Durango and the damn FSM for it doesn't list codes (it just talks what they are wtf?). Anyways I looked up 0700 in my jeep one and it's the transmission fault but I couldn't find the 1776.

I just looked up those codes for ya.
P0700-TCM MIL REQUEST.it's the tcm askin the pcm to turn on the check engine light
P1776-SOLENOID SWITCH VALAE LATCHED IN L-R POSITION
(L-R= LOW,REVERSE)
You need to have a 03 durango FSM to diagnose that one.

I wish I could help you more.I work at a Chrysler/JEEP dealer & we do not have any Dodge books. The Dodge store is 2 blocks away.I used to be at Placentia, but now I'm at Long Beach.I'll try to find out more for you if possible.

Thanks but I ended up taking the dodge into service and after 2 days of them scratching their heads they decided to reset the comp and say: "It shouldn't happen again". Damn idiots: they didn't even open up anything.

On second thought: is there like a printout with dodge codes that you can get your hands on? I'd love a copy as the FSM is slightly defficient in that department.
