I had to do this map a little different, lemme know if it is easier to read then the ones done with National Geographic Topo:
The .gpx file includes tracks for the main trail and Reno Divide and waypoints that correspond to the ones in Charles Wells' Guide to Colorado Backroads & 4-Wheel Drive Trails Volume 1, Second Edition
that are labeled Italian##.
Here's the optional shortcut on Reno Divide, the red track shown on the map above.
The photos somehow makes this look worse that I remember it being. It's really not that bad unless you are afraid of heights.
