CO Gun/permits/carry laws

The good thing is that our sheriff (Terry Maketa) is very "pro-issue" if you meet the requirements.
The good ones have recognized there is no mandate to provide the list of CCW to the state (CCIC) or Feds (NCIC). :patriot: Read into that what you will..

Agreed. I can not remember his name offhand. But he was very informative and polite when I had a few questions about my special circumstance.
Bob Britton - good people.

i was told today that if you get a permit from a state other than the one you live in (colorado) without the colorado permit that you were in violation of the law but if you get the colorado permit and also get a utah permit you can carry in most states.

told this by a ccw instructor at the gun show today. as i had asked him why i cant just get the utah permit and save the money for the colorado ccw.

"If you obtain a Colorado CCW permit, you'll be able to carry a concealed handgun in up to 28 states with just that one permit. By getting a second CCW permit from Utah, which is available to residents of any state, you'll be able to carry in up to 34 states using both your Colorado and Utah permits together."
