I have had tons of work done on my clutch lately - mainly because the mechanic sucked. I had to keep taking it back. Anyway, I refuse to take it back to him because it's always returned with another problem.
So here's one of the few remaining issues. Whenever I step on the clutch, the push rod makes this loud squeaking noise that can be heard inside the cabin. If I get down there (from the inside) and push the rod up a little (in other words, there is a little wiggle room)....the sound disappears. I have been looking at diagrams and I suspect the clutch snap ring may be missing.
Does this sound right? Can you see the clutch snap ring from the inside? Thanks!!!!!
