Hello everyone I am on here to let everyone know before I dissapear from this website for awhile due to family obligation beyond my control. I was just e-mailed about Clear Creek apperenty we are all to show up and show support for the opening of Clear Creek on Sunday May 2nd which is this coming Sunday you need to show up at the BLM field office in Hollister CA which is at 20 hamilton Ct Hollister CA 95023 from 10 until the crowds thin and I would bring you rigs also. I myself would put my Jeep back together to make this run unfortunalty due to a death in the family I will not be able to make this. I HOPE YOU ALL DUE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is our right and our OHV fees go to keep places like this open to wheel and Clear Creek is a great place to do so. SO PLEASE SHOW UP!!!!!!!!! And please post this on PIRATE OFFROAD please. And will someone take some pictures of all the folks that showed up for me please.

Thank you Jason

All my dirt biking friends are showing up there to protest as well, don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure its an organized event. Its a damn shame all the places that get closed down and all the route management plans that reduce our trails.

Friends of Clear Creek want to keep the pressure on the BLM and have organized a:
Clear Creek Protest Day
On Sunday May 2, 2010 from 10am until the crowd thins out

The Protest will be at:
BLM Hollister Field Office
20 Hamilton Ct.
Hollister Ca. 95023

Come out and voice your concerns over the closure of your PUBLIC LANDS by your government. As you probably know the Friends of Clear Creek were able to work with the County Board of Supervisors to recently re open the County Roads in Clear Creek. It is time to keep the pressure on the BLM.
If you have any questions please contact Mike Wubbels at

Mary,

If you drive I may go also. Probably have a Sharks game that night or afternoon and don't want two cars in SJ.

Well what happened. Mary and I had a plan that was prempted by our dad ending up in the emergency room saturday night. (he's Ok now).

What happened? Good turn out?

I stopped by; there was a bunch of Dirt Bikers, maybe a couple of hundred people.
The BLM office was closed it’s in a deserted industrial park. I saw no TV News crews or press of any kind. If you are going to have a protest you need to have an audience!
