I have read a lot of his quotes and I have the movie. I have yet to read the book but I will eventually, great story.

I didn't care too much for the book, I think it was poorly written. The movie is better than the book. Still a good read though with more information than the movie gave. He did have an adventure that most will never experience. A bit of misfortune and a not so well thought out plan ended it though.

Into the wild is good, but Into Thin Air was a great book.
