Choosing the right trailer

lol maybe i should have said a 60-40 split 60 % foward and 40 on the rear. you basicly want more weigh on the front of the trailer then on the rear.

I'm sure you could use that as a guideline and most people will never actually take a scale out to the trailer.

But the best way is still to measure your tongue weight. It doesn't have to be perfect, but if you're towing the same vehicle with the same trailer over and over, you only have to do it once and it's good everytime you load.

or get super nerdy and build one out of a cheap harbor freight bottle jack and a pressure gauge.

but that would require maths, and most people don't like maths.
