yea i had that problem too i could never master the gas/brake thing with one was thinking about doing a hand throttle. but hey if i can get the 2000 off my parents hands with no strings attached that means what ever cash i make off my subaru can go into lockers and armor!!!

Nope. V8s had an aluminum housing D44. But either way, axle swap is best advised.

I wouldnt mind a ZJ with a V8 honestly.

Id just go with whatever you could find (MJ or XJ wise). Id LOVE an MJ, but good luck finding one that doesn't need a lot of work put into it.

even if it dosent have it I would buy it .. provided it has lowerish miles (140k or less)

If it does have LSD or lockers I would forgive higher milage like I did with mine ... My new rig has 202k on it :clap:

Good call. Like I said, if I were in that area and I hadn't just bought my 95 you and I would be fightin for that beast. I wish ya luck on it man, hope it dosent get sold before ya can grab it.

Good luck finding a 5 speed XJ in Texas ... I spent a month looking and only saw 3 5 speed models with 4x4. I may have been looking in all the wrong places though.

If it's already sold, you can just find out who bought it and offer a bit more to them :cheers:

Not what I was getting at ... it was a stab at bmpweXJ. He sold the XJ I have in my avatar and I ended up buying it from the guy he sold to for a few bucks more the same night the original deal went down.
