Just received this from the BLM. They did an nice job repairing the access road this fall so please respect the closure.

Hello,
We are closing the road to carnage temporarily, due to snow melt. We just fixed the road in the fall and would like to keep it in good condition for a while. We will re-open when the road dries. Would you mind passing this on to folks in the club. The last thing we want are people traveling from the front range to find a closed road. Thanks and please call with any questions.

Looks like the CO Chapter annual post-winter-shake-down-run (mid April) is going to be postponed.:eeks1:

They did do a kick-ass job on the entrance road rebuild though.When I ran it in November it wasn't too long after they did it and man it was nice.:thumbup:

Yeah, that could be problematic. Oh well, gives me more time to get my axle under there. Which is a good thing with the shafts being on backorder.
