chevy brake lines

I pulled a set of front brake lines off an old chevy van today that were 22" long. can any one think of why these would be bad to use? The threads in the hard line match and I can use the XJ bolt on the caliper. I think these are longer then the 95 wranglers.
I prefer rubber factory hoses over the braided ones.

I think it was a C-10 looked like an 80's model. Most of the full size trucks have the same lines, They start inside the engine compartment and follow the a-arm to the caliper
