Cherry Point Area XJs

After much deliberation, I've decided to start up an XJ club for the Cherry Point/Camp Lejeune area (North Carolina). While I am aware that this is a bold move, there really are quite a few of us. I've asked around, and people seem interested, so I'm planning an informal get together for Sunday afternoon if anyone would like to join in pm me. I'd like to keep it as informal as possible...

After the first get together, it seems like there is enough interest in a club to get it going. We're planning a trip to Carolina Backwoods offroad park by Myrtle Beach for some time after thanksgiving. If anyone else would like to join us let me know!

Sounds good! What dates would work best for you guys? I'm thinking December 1st through 5th since they have weekly cabin rentals and splitting that would probably be the most cost-effective way to go. Let me know what you think. Also, I created a facebook group called "Cherry Point Area XJ's", which I think is a good way to get organized.

Hey there. Im from Jville. An all xj club sounds good. Right now im with Jville Jeepers. Check us out JVILLEJEEPERS.com. We have a meet and greet tommorow and your all more then welcome to come. Were all jeeps but it would be nice to see some more xjs

I posted a new thread before I seen you had replied. Let everyone know if you would. I used to be stationed up in CP last year and there were a good bit of xjs floating around.

Ok, so the trip is now tentatively for 8-11 of January to allow certain people time to talk their wives into it! I know it seems like forever away, but a month or so of planning will make it a kick ass trip and allow everybody that wants to participate to join us!
