cherokee modification advice

lockers lock your differential when one begins to slip so all are turning at the same time, as apposed to the sotck limited slip differential

No your a litte off buddy. that would be a limited slip where it transfers power to the other tire when one is slipping. And most vehicles come with an open diff meaning no limited slip. A true locker like a detriot has both your shafts locked together 24/7 slip or not they both get the same amount of power.

I think you need to stop playing the whole "i know what im talking about" game because you are losing. You came on here and asked for help and the minute someone told you that your friend is wrong you insult them and question their intelligence. You ask the question and you'll recieve the answers.

Pretending you know what your talking about aint "cool" , and dont refer to it as "not knowing where the unibody is" , the whole jeep is 1 piece so its not in a certain place the JEEP is a unibody , ill repeat once more because we seem to have some communication probelms in this thread , unibody = jeep , location of unibody = entire jeep.

I'm not going to tag in on this little game of lets ask the noob questions to see how intelligent (or unintelligent) he is.

My advise would be to probbly appologize for being immature if you would ever like help from anyone from NAXJA members again. Or simply dont respond anymore and let the topic die

well right now its just 30, i was gonna regear later when i upgraded tires to hopefully 33s

allright then, tomorrow if you can you should definately pop the cover off and have a look, do you know if you have a trac lock? those things usually wear around 80k maybe less maybe more, but ive never heard of them grinding

no locker of any kind...i didnt hear any of these noises before but all of the sudden they appear after the lift. i can really hear anything going straight but when i take a corner i can hear it

I have a trak lock in my 2wd comanche w/ 160k and it'll still spin posi. Is there a lubricant or something i can add to keep it that way?
