Cherokee Crawl 2009

Still so much to do!!!!!!!!! All kinds of mechanical stuff that I could be doing and my dumba$$ is painting it in my spare time. Makes as much sense as Military Intelligence.

Not even putting a big effort into painting it either......:anon:

Ill prolly come out. If I can talk my cousin into getting his done and stay at his lake house about an hour from MM.

Be trying out the 35s and shackle relocation brakets then since June is booked with vacations...

Seeing as how I just bought a house in ATL last week, and my XJ will be there in about 2 weeks, my wife and I would like to make this event. Its only a little over an hour or so from our new house, so I dont see any reason not to go! The only problem I see is I am not sure if my wheeling stuff will be there in time (straps, Hi-lift, RTT, camping stuff etc). We have to ship all that stuff with our house hold goods, and It may not be there in time.... It will be down to the wire. I am coming though, if even only for a day or two. If the stuff gets to ATL in time, we will stay the whole time.

I read through this whole thread, and didnt get much info. Is there some other place that has info? Like, what is the cost for wheeling? can we camp? Can we arrive on Wed. and leave on Sunday? Any sort of schedule at all?

correct...
Ed said it was being taken care of.

I'm still in need of a pic of last years crawl shirt if anyone can help out.

Why? It needs a chest logo with the site and date and a big logo on the back with the same. Run with it. Or are you not a real artist?

I am not an artist by any means of the word, the wife just wanted an idea of what y'all had before.

Oh. LOL! Was joking anyway about the artist thing. Like I said logo on front chest logo on back is what we have done in the past. If I can get a camera I'll try and shoot some for you.

I just talked to Randy @ Morris Mountain and he said everything is a go for the NAXJA Crawl. He said his website guy has been busy and he hasn't been able to update the site. That is why our event isn't on the calendar.

We can begin arriving on Wednesday and leave out on Sunday.

Unfortunately, even though it will be the 4th of July, no fireworks will be permitted. He said there is a lot of pine straw in the campground and if it is dry doesn't want to chance a fire.

Randy seems excited to have us so lets go out and see how much fun we can have.

Excellent!!!!!!!! I am ready, my Jeep is not, but I AM!!!! The Jeep will be ready though. :repair:

We need to get to turning wrenches Ghost!!!!:rof:

List gets smaller every day! Down to Locker for the front, Weld the rear, Install rear DS, finsih cut and fold the rear, tighten and check all bolts, install drag link, and then take her for a test drive!

I've got to install an '02 booster and MC, new brake lines, WJ knuckle swap and brake upgrade. I'm tired of not being able to stop!!!!

I've got to figure out the steering with the new knuckles too.
