They do look nice but I think I could build the XJ camper for less than 10K. But now I will not need to due to the awsome trail rig I got for free. lol. Now it's time for the goose neck with pop up camper. Those 2 together will cost about 10K because I know my wife will want a pop up with a shower.
I'd rather get an old military trailer, (m-416?), and put 5k into it. Even better, get a decent used 32" goose-neck, pull a pop-up off it's axles, and mount it on the trailer next to the goose-neck.
guy down the road made his out of a short GNT and a sleeper cab off his old peterbuilt. little welding here and there and it turned out pretty sweet, uses it for his atvs.
