whoever buys it i can get a good deal on a new radiator i work at napa and there is a radiator wholesaler down the street from me who cuts us killer deals! lifetime warranty and all that jazz :confused1

Tempting but I already have a 91 that was too good to pass up. Only thing that sucks about it is its a Peugot trans. I'm sure it needs more than just a radiator much like the 91 I bought. It will be the usual Jeep stuff, cracked exhaust manifold, motor mounts, maybe trans mount, leaking oil all over (oil filter adapter, valve cover, rear main and pan, possibly front crank seal), maybe fuel injectors leaking when cold (Renix), maybe seperating crank pulley, etc.... How many do I really need?

Anyone know if it has the 4.0L, most 5 spds I have seen are the 4 cylinder ones. I called him a couple of times.

If it was a 87 I would agree with you, but in 88 I think mostly 4.0L's were in front of the peugot trans. In any case I think its a good deal.....Wonder if I can fit another Xj in my....OK Russ step away from the computer.

140,000 miles on the OD. Runs great, overheats for some reason and only pukes fluid from the Radiator when it overheats. Everything works, A/C windows, seats, doors, heater, stereo. Smells like a grocery getter though.

Yah just needs a "radiator". Nice power steering cap, hose repairs, aftermarket cast iron t-stat housing, missing fan shroud, battery in backwards (wrong one), broken shift knob, and where's the rest of the factory outside spare tire carrier.
