i also have a 72 charger se. I have bad vibrations in the car, i think that the engine mounts are ok, could it be an unbalnced driveshaft? what else? the raer end fluid is fine.` thanks everyone!

When does it vibrate? Only at a certain speed? Straightline? Curves? Getting on it hard? Need input!

charger vibrates after about15mph. I think that i have rules out wheel bearings, and alignment. fluids are fine

Last car I had that did that had lost a weight on the driveshaft. It was actually easy to see. Crawled under and looked at the shaft. Was a cleaner spot shaped like a rectangle where the weight used to be. Had a driveshaft shop look at it.....they rebalanced and problem was gone. They wanted to make a whole new shaft but I couldn't afford it. If you do this you might as well change the u-joints at the same time. It is possible for them to cause minor vibe problems, I'm told.
