"Chapter membership"

When I joined last year with Aaron, Led, John... I figured I would help start the CO chapter, but of course I wasn't likely to show at too many meetings At the time, there was neither a Colorado, nor a Midwest chapter. Since that time, Midwest has formed a Porn site, oops!, "Chapter" <rolled eyes>.

The $45 question, and yes, continued membership with may depend on this, is, do I "have to" belong to a Chapter, or can I choose the Chapter I belong to.

Which chapter you care to associate with is up to you, AFAIK. Membership in is just that, membership in . You want to hang with us, Ron, that's fine, we are used to you.

What Fred said is correct. The local chapters are just a way for members in an area to get together and drool on each others stuff. And allows for easier setup of regional events.

My original question, and the following posts, were made with the intention of answering my initial question and inciting some thoughtfulness by the MW moderators and president of this association. This forum is the public face of .

Your post is a good example of the kind of traffic I see on the MW forum.
I did not address you, or make personal coments about yourself or your character. Yet, you insist on making them to me.
Based on your and bgcntry72's comments and the backlash comments made on the CP ratings, why should I bother to re-up with ?

I am more than a poster on this forum, I am a paid member and supporter of outside this forum.

Each of us needs to find a way to support Off-Roading in our own way.
I joined last year when the CO folks were joining and wanted to form a chapter. I also joined to support 's numbers in UFWDA. I can still chat with the CO folks without posting here, or belonging to , no skin off my nose. I can also join UFWDA independently- same attitude.
