?cb & antenna mounting?

looking for some ideas on where to mount my old Midland (77-145, yeah it's old, lol) cb but most importantly antenna placement on '01XJ.

thoughts on antenna placement...
i have heard that Midland makes a hatchback mount, anyone use this?

i can go with a magnetic roof mount but would rather not go that route.

not impressed with window mount antennas, anyone use them? like them?

a cb tech said a permanent center roof mount best, which i agree, but hate to drill the metal.

any other ideas? thanks to all...

Iam useing a mag mount right now but I think I soon will switch to a tail light mount.

I have used them all and sooner or later they all get ripped off.
I use a Wilson magnet mount now and it's the best so far.

Right now I'm using Aj's rear tail light mount with a 4ft firestik on a spring mount. Works and looks great. The antenna has been beat wheelin' tight trails and the mount is still good. The lift gate is def. scratched up from the antenna beating against it.
