Hey everyone I'm new to NAXJA, formally on NAGCA but I retired my ZJ, I'm trying to figure out what chapter to hook up with, how often do you guys go wheelin/ ,where? I've done alot of so-cal runs, closest I've done is miller jeep trail( not very close) and spotted on the Rubi 2 weeks ago. Let me know if ya'll hook up ever and I'll make the drive north.

cajun, welcome. i believe you'll be a part of the sierra chapter. just continue to read the threads to see what runs are planned. also, check to see what min req. might be needed. your always welcome to join in the runs. sounds like your ready to go! i'm in the so-cal chapter but run with the sierra guys.....or any other open opportunity.

Hey, Cajun -

Welcome! What the heck are you doing hanging out with the SoCal crowd??!???I know SactoXJ has said that the southernmost border is Fresno, but if you wanna spend more time on the trails and less on the web, this is where you gotta be!!

Yo Kej,

My participation in Moab is dependent on two items - whether Crash's junk has withstood the past wheelin season and whether I have enough vacation left. We'll see, but October may be out for me. Course, I work for the state, and may end up as a professional houseguest when management "reorganizes" the department.

:( :( I was so looking forward towards giving you hard time and telling you some sexists jokes that are too bad to be posted on this board (you thought that what I posted then was bad.... LOL). I hope you can make it :D

P.S. If you Crash's junk doesn't survive... why don't you start on building your own!

Oh, man, you have no idea...

Technically, there are three Jeep projects going on at our house:
First, there's making sure that "Old Red" is operable,
Second, there's the XJ transfer project, where Old Red's innards are slowly being tranferred to a new body,
and third, MY BUGGY!!! (53 CJ extended frame, v6, the rest we don't know yet.)

The problem is, we don't have enough off-season time to get the projects done, and I got no welding skills, yo (major booger welds.)

I fully should, huh. I've heard so much about Moab, t'would be a shame to miss it.

Speaking of missing, why the heck weren't you at Swamp?

lol.... well..... lets see.... a remodel that's taken on a life of it's own and has been growing and consuming more time then my XJ when it's broke :( It looks like you guys had a lot of fun... but I still was able to get out for one day... and I enjoyed it :) to prove it I got plenty of rock rash and scarring on my rims and I have successfully bent the crossmember and while it was reinforced the previous bent while straightened bent again at the same spot (just not as much though LOL).
