I'm lovin this place so far. Reminds me of Nags Head when I was a kid. We brought the kayaks with us and hope to do some fishing as soon as we find out a good put in spot. We plan on some pier fishing for King Macks off the end on float rigs as well. I have been told to stay off the beaches in my stock Jeeps(we drove the Commander and the JK down) due to the really powdery sand(lack of rain). The local recovery company has yanked 330 rigs off the sand in the last 24 hours! I got this first hand from the owner of the company.

Nice! Nick and I do an annual trip down there around July/August. I plan on doing more than one trip once I get the Crawl behind me. Maybe if you've got the time and funds you could come down and join us for the weekend.
