Don't know about spending that much on a bumper.

But good stereo equipment makes all the difference in the world in some peoples enjoyment of the car and good equipment is worth moving into your nicer car when you can afford to move up. Still I spent way less than that on my system(s) and chose to run the weaker of my 2 setups that takes less space since space is a commodity in my XJ what with the camping and wheeling and all. I probably wouldn't have one if it wasn't a d.d.
