Can Respond to Posts?

Do I need to be a paying member to respond to posts? As you can see... I can create a post... but when I go to respond to others it doesn't work...

What section can't you respond in? Some sections are members only

Some sections are paying members only, or what?? Cause I am having the same issues... if there is a quick reply box I can reply, but if I have to click on reply it won't let me, it just gives me an error...

bluedragon436, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I don't always get this message, only if there isn't a Quick Reply box available, if I have to click on a reply link to be able to reply to a thread then it gives me this error...

There isn't any one forum... it is just certiain threads here and there, but I have noticed that for the most part the ones that I can't post on, are threads that are started by paying members... so I am guessing since I am just a lowly registered member, not a paying member I can't post... or at least that is all I can think it is...

Certain specific forums are members only, but you should be able to respond in the tech forums and all the chapter forums.

I can't post on the classfieds... not sure if I can make a listing... but I know I can't reply to them.... I guess that is one of the threads that are members only?!

IIRC, you cant post in the national classifieds without being a member but you should be able to post in your chapter classifieds without a problem.
