Calico Run for November?

Rather than see a good thread get side tracked 'cause that never happens here. The weather is cooling off, it aint ever gonna snow for a snow run, no mud will ever be found farther away than the garden hose will reach. What kind of interest is there around here for a Calico run? Say mid November? It would probably be best that niether myself or Remi lead, that way we can be back before Christmas.

Mid Nov. just seemed far enough out to give some people time to think about it.

Any input?

I’m differently in, thinking day run or camping?

It's a bit of a drive for some to just do a one day. IMO
As for me, the Ramada was just fine last time. WIMP? Go ahead, say it. I'll survive just fine. :)

I'm in. Been meaning to head out there again for a few months anyway. What weekend were you thinking?

Speak for yourself... I've missed many a game and practice working on the jeep. ANyways I'm up for it (school commitments pending) but I'll probably do one day of it. How does Doran sound to you all? Perfect run for Sat, and I can be there EARLY in the morning to wake all you lazy bums up! Btw, speak for yourself when it comes to getting lost :twak: You've made more turns and uturns a have bent many more straight lines then I did!

I prefer to make it a weekend trip, but I’ll be tenting it.
On the other hand I"m tempted to come up the day before though and..... the cabins are pretty cheap and they sleep 4 so maybe that's an option? get 4 people and split it up :D

You're right - rugby is *far* superior :)

I'll have to head back early on the 21st (I work Sundays, and can't take time off right now), but it sounds good otherwise. Still in. Where're we meeting up? Any room for us stockers apart from the run up?

Depending whether you run odessa or doran you can either do it on your own or take a strap or a bypass in a few spots.
Meeting spot.... how about along the road across the street from Calico? IIRC the shoulder is very wide there.

That would work. Right across from the WW sign.

It wasn't a No U Turn sign.:nono:
