Come one, come all! We'll have carnage, we'll probably have welding (for sure if a certain tree decides to butt heads with a rock again :D), we'll have wheeling we'll have fun!
For those arriving Fri I'll see if I can get a ghost walk organized :D We went two years ago and it was a blast !

For those with family that doesn't necessarily like to wheel, there is always the ghost town to visit which has attractions for both young and old.

And now a question to those wrenching procrsatinators: will your rig be ready? :D

What are the trails that are scheduled to run? I know Lower Doran is on most guys minds, but what else? What about those who can't or won't run it?

What are meeting times and places?

Thanks,

Those details are still being worked out: depending on the size of the group and interest we might or might not have the need for two trails. Doran can be ran with a nearly stock rig (rockrails are a pretty much a must though) as long as they take a bypass on lower doran.
Btw, standard trail equipment is required (I'll post the list in a short bit) for all vehicles running any trails on any of the NAXJA events.

Thanks Remi,

I ran Doran and Odessa last year with my 3" lift and 31's. Got my first body damage there. I did not run lower doran, I guess that's obvious.

I will be coming up for the day from OC, leaving early Sat. morning. I did it last year and it was a long day, but fun.

Thanks

Anyone have some 35's I can borrow? :D I hate draggin ass on the rocks.

I think I am already set to go, but I could break something between now and then. I do need to refill my CO2. And it wouldn't hurt to fix my NSS.

Probably not

Most likely not. Just finished getting the steering box on though, just gotta center up the steering and decide if the Jeep is messed up. Every time I don't drive it for a few weeks when I come back to it I think it's all screwed up (it is) and it turns out to be normal stuff (normal for my Jeep that is).

Well, I'm hoping that my jeep will be trail worthy by then. At this point I got some issues that I need to resolve, but I am still at a point where I"m lining up all the parts.

An understatement :laugh3:

well concidering I have only met like 3 peopel from :NAXJA: and they all have been great people, I would love to make it. I am currently just trying to get a long arm conversion for the front since I am on 6.5" of lift and IF I can get that on before then, then I would make it there.

It will be close though since I cant buy it till I knwo what my return will be adn that wont be till the 6th. So if I order it on the 7th adn do a 2day air that puts it in my hand with a day to install and get out there. So its poss but iffy...

Safety Belts for all occupants
Battery Mount in acceptable condition
Tow Strap (no metal hooks) or Winch
Tow Point - Front in acceptable condition
Tow Point - Rear in acceptable condition
First Aid Kit
Fire Extinguisher
Spare

Lug Wrench
All of the above items will be inspected, so if you're missing something you have almost a month to take care of it.

I will not be able to make this run. I found out today that I have to travel to Seattle for work.

You guys have fun.

See ya next time -

BTW, what does it take to have an "official" NAXJA run? I mean, what does it take to plan one? I would like to plan something for Big Bear real soon.

Thanks

So are you honestly that strick on a spare, If theres another there with the same bolt pattern and OD? Same goes for the jack. Is it really necc if theres like 10 otheres there? I know its more of a You should always have this that and the other. But you should also have a spare front set of full assemb shafts for a 30 as well as on universal brake line and flare kit at min also? Just askin..

Yes I am: those are NAXJA requirements not mine.

You would wheel without a spare? I've carried two and still came home with plugs in my sidewall..

:laugh3:

Yes a spare no smaller that 2 inches than your regular 4 tires.

My bolt pattern doesn't match yours either :dunno: and at $300/tire.....
