Should be a good time!

I put a new starter in the jeep Monday... and drove it for the first time since the last competition
Drove it onto the trailer...

This sessions round of modifications include:
add more tube to the "A" pillar area
replace the front driveshaft u-joint
kill switch
cutting / parking brakes

and hopefully a new hood / grill!

Directions:

I-80 to Soda Springs / Norden Exit
Bear right onto Donner Pass Road
18320 Donner Pass Road
Norden, CA 95724

I cut the passenger side front of my cage off last night!

then left! :scared:

I ll be there on Sunday.

Anybody know where to camp or if there are any nearby hotels that aren't crazy hippie lodges in the area?

The wife, dog and I will be there. She had so much fun at Marysville, she just wants more. As far as camping, there are forest service campgrounds all over the summit. There is a very nice campground just outside of Tahoe Donner that has hook-ups and flush toilets. Very easy camping and it's only like $20 per night. I'm looking into campgrounds on the summit tonight and I'll share any good info I can find...

Sooooo, how'd it go? junk=broken?

Phil stacked his a$$ off!
Big props to Phil!

we tried hard and had the best runs in competition that we've ever had!

I was in 1st gear, low range, with the front end bound up at one point - bound hard enough to stall the motor! and my front end didnt break!

Rig is good - leaks a little more oil than it used to, and I bent the upper coil bucket on the drivers side somehow? but other than that its in running shape...

According to the official scores, we took 4th place - but our score on C2 on saturday shouldnt be an 8, it should be a 26, giving us 5th place -

scores here:

for some reason the judge added wrong the first time. 2 cones, 9 backups = 29, 3 progression points 29-3=26... dono how we got 8 :gag:

though a 119 is a helluva lot better than the last time we competed getting a 310 or so! We had a great weekend!

look for picutres later tonite, and look for us at the next Cal Rocs comp in Coloma in August!

here are some pictures of the bigger rigs to hold you over till you can see pics of the stock mod guys!
