My XJ has gotten out of hand, and consumed too much of my precious cash. It's plan was for 3-4" lift with 31's, and to be a backup DD. That being said, I would be willing to partially trade for a smaller XJ. I'll probably keep the winch, and am open to keeping the tires/wheels. It drives/wheels great, but I have a TJ to tend to. Two wheeling trip since the build.

The only issue that needs attention is it needs a fuel cell gasket. I will order one Monday.

It has:
1998 Sport with 102,000 miles. ALL fluids flushed, and are Amsoil Synthetic. MAYBE 300 miles on the lift....

6.5" Rustys Long Arms,
4.5" Rustys leafs, with 2" shackles
TJ Flares (rear will be installed as soon as Global Warming happens)
35" MT-R's on MOAB Rims
SYE
Ruggid Ridge Steering Upgrade
TnT frame stiffeners
Beefy Rock Sliders
Front and Rear Bumpers, both with recovery points.
12 gallon fuel cell.
HPD30 with Aussie Locker
29-spline welded 8.25"
3.55 gears
Some pin striping courtesy of the Kane Creek trail.

Not sure what its worth, but I would like to get $8000 out of it. Probably out of line, but I have that in parts/upgrades.

I have a stock XJ I'd want to trade, plus cash, but I just can't handle that price. I don't blame you, as she's beautiful and I'd want my money out of it too. Good luck to you.

Survived Dresser! If I have it in a week, its getting dropped to 4.5" lift on 32" MTR's to appeal to a wider base...

Wow, what happened or is there another thread? Sorry to see that happen to a nice XJ.

Combination of unfortunate events that ended up in a roll. 1st event: Install an open rear end/didnt properly adjust the drums. 2nd event: failed motor mount. 3rd event: Failed motor mount led to failed trannymount. That combo allowed too much drivetrain movement, which pulled the tcase linkage out of between the AW4 and the body. This prevented me from switching to the tcase without getting out of the Jeep).

After all of this, I was still wheeling it, but on the easy stuff. I attempted a hill climb in 2wd that I done many, many times before (although with welded rear). I got to the top, but the one wheel wonder couldnt do it in the soft dirt. I then proceeded to back down. While backing down, the front tires locked up, and the rear walked toward the trees and the steering was now useless without the front tires not moving. I let up the brakes to point her back to the trail, but gained too much momentum. Once pointed almost straight I hit the brakes again and the Jeep took such a sharp turn I couldnt do anything but warn the passengers we were going over. It did a half endo half roll, with a pirouette on the rear bumper. I made 85% back down, and landed on all fours. Everyone walked away thankfully.

Glad to hear eveyone is ok!!! are you selling the leafs?
Well Im having second thoughts about selling the parts. I've been thinking about just getting another XJ to transfer the parts even though I already have a TJ. I guess I just miss it!
