Build thread: Out of Misery, again...

The maxi is just to protect the wire. I used 2g wire because if history repeats itself I will not need the stereo amps and will use the wire for a rear mounted battery. I hate buying things twice.

Both amps have dual 25 amp fuses. I have not popped the maxi and I feel happy with it.

I know the wire/fuse has nothing to do with sound quality/loudness. There's 40 pages of bs within this thread. :D

Sounds like you build things along the same line of reasoning I use. And no, you can't put too heavy-duty a cable in place for power supply.

I won the "Mall Crawler" award at the crawl.

Looks good. Gonna be nice and bright at night. I wish ours were brighter but for the couple times a year we actually use them they do just fine.

Is there some sort of special anti-snow light spectrum that LED's use that incandescent bulbs don't?
No...but they get packed with snow and aren't warm enough to melt it.. at least that's my issue on duck boats

Rock crawling in the snow, at night has never crossed my mind of something I want to do.
i guess i didnt mean to imply rock crawling. just trail riding is gorgeous. my favorite time to trail ride honestly.

winner winner chicken dinner.

Angle the beam out and forward of the tire a bit more. I've had lights aimed like that before and could see much of the trail I was on.
