.....cold weather back where it belongs. :firedevil

It snowed a few inches yesterday, that was fun. Now them temps are steadily dropping... Was 19.2 degrees a bit ago, now it dropped to 18.1. The wind is blowing 35-50 MPH.
I just walked down to the pump house to check on the pipes..... Nothing but solid ice on the driveway.
Good thing the Jeep is up at the house.....if we go anywhere, it will likely not make it up the driveway again without chains.

Brrrrrrrrr

What do you mean? I thought yesterday and today was the beginning of spring, being in the 70s and all.

What are you whining for? Your daily commute is measured in steps in bedroom slippers.

hehe, true. :) Just damned cold weather for these parts. As long as the power does not go out....... warm and cozy by the fire.

You don't have a generator?
Nope, no generator. We heat completely with wood though... so that is fine.
Now 17 degrees outside. 74 degrees inside. :)

Yup, they can give off a bunch of heat. My monitors are all off though right now. Sitting on the couch using my laptop. That in itself keeps the legs warm.... like a mini-heater, lol.

How much weight have you gained in the last two years?

Damn, one pipe under the house frozen already. :( Got a heater under there right now......been years since we had to do that. Not much crawl space either...if it bursts, I am gonna be pissed..... hard to get to, and the hardware store is closed tomorrow.

It's official, we've gotten more snow here in Chicago in the last 3 hours than all winter so far. About 2" on the ground. 29 degrees now, supposed to go down to 15 tonight.

I was up at my folks all last week, and almost all the snow near Traverse City, MI was gone. 45 degrees on Tuesday last week, and it rained cats and dogs on Friday night.

It was a freakin' balmy 70 degrees with 90% humidity this morning at around 0600 when I left for work. I'd appreciate a little cooler weather down here.... but not quite what you all are having.
My ideal climate is San Francisco, but I probably couldn't afford food or utilities after paying my mortgage....

Hasn't been above zero (F) in two days. It sucked when the wind topped out at above 30 mph night-before-last...

Well, it got down to 16 last night, but has warmed up to a balmy 20 degrees and only 30 mph winds.
So far, the worst thing is....my Jeep is going to at *least* need new freeze plugs. :( Too damned cold to tell for sure yet.
Then had to get my truck running.... big snow storm coming in tommorrow...or so they say. Truck was frozen to the ground.
Freak weather....I hate it. LOL.

WOW up here in Toronto Ontario, we have had a warm winter so far, yesterday was like12 degrees, I do not know what it is in American Temp terms, but was very warm and no snow...but it is colder today and we should expect some snow soon....
