Bring me a canoe from Seattle?

My old thread got stale and deleted, so here we go again...

Longshot -- but does anyone have plans for a trip to Seattle (and back, obviously) with room on the roof for a canoe? I need a canoe delivered from Seattle to Colorado Springs. Gladly take you to dinner, buy you a beer, etc. for your efforts!! I'm not in a hurry, so even if you have long-term plans, they'll probably work...

Have you tried talking to Sean (dotcom) to see if he'll have any trucking runs up that way? My uncle was a driver for Crete Carrier Corp for 8 years and use to make money on the side filling the empty space in the trailers........... Dunno what Stevens company policy might be on that but could be worth looking into. :dunno:

Hmmmmm -- that's why you make the big bucks, yella. I'll give him a shout -- I think he has been primarily running from S. Texas to New England though...

Eh, well maybe he gots a cousin who knows a guy who does the Seattle route, ya know what I'm sayin?......... (said in a thick Bronx accent :D) Fuggetaboudit......
