Got 10 miles on it, I got pictures of it, looks legit, I believe seller owns or works for a dealership, hence "never" been titled. So the new car warranty begins when a car is first titled? If so, would this be a 8 year old XJ with a new car 3/36,000 warranty?????

It's parked right next to an inferno red 04 WJ SE with 5 miles on it, never been titled. I would love the new WJ but it's not optioned like I would want it(4.7, leather). Same deal with the warranty here?? get a 3/36 and unpgrade it to a 7/70..sweet a WJ with a factory warranty in 2016!

wow. how much does he want?

He told me $30k for each. I'm looking for a WJ for my GF, I was hoping it wouldn't be as much $$$ but it makes sense to me that it is.

I don't know how to post pics unless they are hosted on the web. I can send them to you if you know how, I'm not that good with computers.

Would like to see pics too even though its far away from me

So he wants to sell you a vehicle that is valued at $8,662 with the mileage credit, on NADA, for $30,000. It's not a classic yet, its less than eight years old. He also doesn't show you what wheels it has. Many many red flags here, be careful. If this was legit I think he wouldn't hold back so much information, unless he was trying to hide something.

I think he is going to tell you to go find another new XJ w/ less than 10 miles or less on it...

Yeah, supply and demand are a big factor in a sale like this. Not like you have your choice of XJ's like this one. The seller knows he's looking for a small minority in potential buyers.

He knows sooner or later someone is gonna come along and come close enough to his asking price to let it go. It's not like it's costing him anything to let it sit there. Then again... he could be in a financial bind enough to consider much less.

Something tells me this is the owner/family of All American Jeep from Tamaqua,Pa? I bet Lynn at RC knows this gentleman.

15k yeah but 30k he's high on something!

and he's dead wrong

exactly. the supply is nil, but for 30k there is no demand.

Like i said, he's looking for a particular type of buyer.. not me but their out there. Theres a Scrambler on ebay with 675 original miles with a BIN of $49.999, he wont get it but it will go for a large number that most will consider ludicrous.
