This particular property is managed by the BLM. To get to this area, drive to Shasta Dam, drive across the dam, and then take a left but access across Shasta Dam in closed at this time.WHEN IT'S OPEN A PERMIT IS REQUIRED TO CROSS SHASTA DAM TO ACCESS THE SHASTA DAM STAGING AREA. You must apply 72 hours in advance. You can obtain the permits at the Bureau of Reclamation Shasta Dam Visitors Center or by calling (530) 275-1554.

it seems there is more of this than that.

Shawn, blocks are a very bad idea. They'll ruin your rear springs (causing axle rap and sagging) and are known to break.

Call Rubicon Express @ (916) 858 8575 for your brake line information.

If you want to get some lift in the rear, plate the bottom of the rear spring perch and add some square stock to bolt the spring into. I'm sure CRASH can post some pics here. :wantyou:

I'll talk to my wife about the run to Chappie, sounds like a nice area for a trail ride.
