Bought number 4.................

Kevin, please give us an update as to what's up with you two. Have you settled in NC for a while? How's lisa? You guys working? How's the dog?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Best from Marni and SeanP

Great to hear you got another 2 dr XJ. Wow, you are really moving around, from coast to coast. How's it going??? Like other have asked...have you settled out East. I guess a user name change is in order then. :)

Only paid 3k out the door. The plan is to slowly build it and get rid of the Limited wheels ASAP. :wierd:

It looks like we're staying put for a while. We've both found work and Lisa found a Technical College in Asheville where she can get her degree as a Medical Lab Tech., then finish her degree in Science.

We're only about 3 hours from Tellico (haven't been yet) and there are some other places to wheel.
We went to Mt. Mitchell ( highest point east of the Mississippi) 6600 feet. :laugh3: kinda cool, but nothing like the Sierras.

Billy, how's the new house? You sold that XJ too soon, I was going to ask you deliver it for $1500 ;)

Sean, we're all fine. How's momma and the baby? Your Jeep comin' along OK?

Big Red, good to see ya back. Try to stay under 6 words per post. :wave1:

Great to hear from you. Marni and Emma are doing great. Jeep lost it's front fenders and header panel which were replaced with tube  No time to do much of anything, but my projects are slowly coming along.

I love Asheville, how far is that from you? Really a cool little town, kind of hippie in a way. Great quality of life. I am sure that you have hooked up with Woody and the east coast guys.

What are you doing for a living? Pimp?

Glad to hear everyone's fine.
You've been to Asheville? When? We're south of town about 20 miles on I-26.
Did you go to the Biltmore Estate?
Haven't hooked up with Woody yet, probably see him in October at Tellico.

I've found some local carpentry work.

I lived in Chapel Hill in 92-93 and did a mountain bike race in Asheville. I never did make it to the biltmore, but I saw the movie Being There with peter sellers. The movie was filmed there.

Western NC is one of the areas the we have looked at for when we escape CA. That, and Bend OR and Front Range of CO.

Thanks Billy. It looks a lot better in the pic, but it's not in bad shape.
Glad to hear the purchase is going smooth. Ours got kinda ugly at the end. :banghead:
