Have never really heard of them, currie is the only own that I am even remotely familiar with. But this is the first time I have ever gotten into this kind of project. Any reputation comments on them ?

Dynatrak is a California company that advertises in all the 4WD magazines. They did the custom D44 front axle for one of the magazine's Cherokee project vehicle a couple of years ago. I haven't dealt with them personally, but the magazines take a lot of projects to them so they can't be too bad.
Drive Train Direct I have dealt with (not for a custom axle) and I think they're a good company. But they are also in California.
Talk to TRC first. It's nice to support our members if possible.

I'm heading their way with my $$$ in the next few weeks, for me they are local. They seem to be more flexible with what they offer/ customer wants. Currie only gave me two choices for knuckles on a 44; CJ or those like I already have on my LP30. I want to address steering while I'm at it.
